Are Uber and Lyft rides tax deductible?
Yes, when the ride is for the business: to a client, a job, the airport for a work trip. A ride to your regular workplace is a commute and isn’t.
The rule
A ride between two places you go for work is a business expense, and so is the tip. If your home is your principal place of business, a ride from home to a client counts from the door.
On a trip away from home overnight, rides to and from the airport, the hotel and every meeting are travel expenses.
Rides home at the end of a working day, or to an office you go to every day, are commuting.
A $38.40 ride to a client meeting is deductible in full, tip included.

See it on every receipt.
Snap it and Reimburse files it on the right Schedule C line, takes the deductible share and shows what it puts back.
