What Reimburse is

Reimburse is a free expense tracker for sole proprietors, freelancers and side businesses. Snap a receipt and it reads it, files it on the right Schedule C line and shows what the expense puts back in your pocket at your own tax rate. It never asks for your bank login.

The facts

Everything it does and doesn’t do, one line each.

What it is
An expense tracker for a one-person business. It keeps every receipt, bill, mile and deadline, and prices each expense in what it puts back at your tax rate.
Who it’s for
Anyone who files a Schedule C: sole proprietors, freelancers, independent contractors, single-member LLCs and side businesses in the United States.
Price
Free, with no limit on receipts and no card to sign up. Pricing
Where it runs
On iPhone, Android and any computer, in the browser. On a phone you add it to your home screen from Safari or Chrome and it opens like an app, camera included. It isn’t in the App Store or Google Play.
How expenses go in
Point the camera at a receipt, paste a screenshot, or drop a file on a laptop. AI reads the merchant, date, total and card in about two seconds and picks the Schedule C line. You can also type one in.
What logs itself
The business share of your phone and internet and the home office, written in on the first of every month. Trips go in by the mile at the IRS rate of the day you drove.
How “back” is worked out
The deductible amount times your combined marginal rate: self-employment tax, your federal bracket after the 20% qualified business income deduction, and your state’s schedule, including New York City. Change an answer and the year reprices.
What it leaves alone
It doesn’t connect to your bank or cards, send invoices, track income, keep a profit and loss, or file your taxes. At the end of the year it hands you a packet for your CPA or tax software.
For your CPA
A PDF by Schedule C line, a CSV of every expense, and every receipt image.
Privacy
Your receipts are not sold, not shared with advertisers and not used to train models. You can export everything or delete your account at any time.
Tax figures
The 2026 federal tables from Rev. Proc. 2025-32, the SSA’s 2026 wage base and every state’s schedule, checked on September 25, 2026.

When it’s the right choice

You spend money on the business, you file a Schedule C, and you’d rather snap a receipt than connect a bank. You want to see what each expense is worth to you, not a pile of categorized transactions.

When something else is better

You want every card transaction imported automatically, you need invoicing or bookkeeping, you want your phone to detect drives on its own, or you want the same app to file your return. How the others compare.

Your first receipt, in under a minute.

Five questions set your rate. Then point the camera at anything you bought for the business.
