Everything it does, and what it leaves alone
Reimburse keeps the expense side of a one-person business: every receipt, bill, mile and deadline, each priced in what it puts back.
Capture
- Tap the blue square and point the camera at the receipt. A screenshot of an emailed one works too.
- The merchant, amount, category and card fill themselves in. A hollow dot marks the one field worth a second look.
- Save, and the year's figure moves by what that receipt puts back.
It files each expense under its Schedule C line and prices it at your rate before you’ve pressed Save. A second copy of the same receipt asks before it saves twice.
On a laptop, drop a receipt anywhere on the page or paste it in.

Some deductions never come with a receipt. Tell Reimburse once what share of your phone and internet is business and how big your office is, and it writes them in on the first of every month.
Trips go in by the mile, at 72.5¢ before July 1 and 76¢ after, because the IRS raised the rate mid-year. Each trip keeps the rate of the day you drove, and places you go often are one tap.
Mileage
76¢ a mile since July 1Home office, both ways
The IRS allows two methods. The simplified one is $5 a square foot, up to 300. The actual one is your office’s share of rent, utilities and insurance. Reimburse works out both from the same few numbers and shows them side by side, so you can take the larger.
Rent $3,200, utilities $210 and renter’s insurance $28 a month, in this example.

The largest deductions for a one-person business often have no receipt at all. A few short questions each tell you whether they apply and what they’re worth.
They come off your income before the rate applies, so they are worth more than a receipt of the same size.
Deadlines, before they’re due
Estimated taxes, 1099s for contractors and the return itself, on the dates that apply to your kind of business. Each one shows what you’d owe at your current pace, and a reminder arrives by email and on your phone 14 days and 2 days before.
Coming up
Sole proprietorA packet your CPA can use
Every category in Reimburse is a line on Schedule C, so the year arrives already sorted. At tax time, download one packet: a PDF summary by line, a spreadsheet of every expense, and every receipt photo, named and dated.
Meals without a guest and trips without a reason get a gentle note in the ledger, so the year is audit ready before anyone asks.

No bank login
Reimburse never asks for your bank password or reads your accounts. You add what you spent on the business, and nothing else.
No bookkeeping
No invoices, no profit and loss, no reconciling. It keeps the expense side of the business, sorted the way the IRS asks for it.
No filing
It gets the numbers and receipts ready. You, your CPA or your tax software file the return.
